Art By Billie - Pet Portraits, People Portraits, and Seascapes

I'm Billie Mann, and welcome to Art By Billie! My lifelong love of art
and animals has brought me to this great little corner of the world -
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

My mediums are oil on canvas, acrylic on canvas, graphite on
bristol or charcoal paper, pen and ink on bristol,
and digital art (for commercial/advertising purposes only).

Pet portraiture is my specialty, but I also accept commissions
for paintings of seascapes, celebrities,
and drawings of people in the private sector (common folk like us).

Some things to consider when considering commissioning a portrait:

- Portraits are based on photographs supplied by the client.
Well-focused and lit photos of your pet are the key to a strong portrait.
In general, the better the photo, the better the finished painting.

- All paintings are created on acid-free 100% cotton canvas
stretched onto high quality all wood stretcher bars with, 3/4" or 7/8" paintable sides.
I extend the portrait onto the sides, and attach hangers to the back.
My paintings do not require framing, and are ready to hang straight from the box.
